Regular season runs 10–12 weeks, followed by single-elimination playoffs. Full season from first game to championship night is typically 13–14 weeks.

One game per week per division. Game nights vary by city and division. Check the division details for your specific day, time, and location.

Yes. All registered teams make the playoffs. No extra cost. Playoffs are part of the season.

Your team captain is notified by email right away. Cancelled games are rescheduled when possible. If rescheduling isn't feasible, the game is recorded as a tie.

Yes. Every game is officiated by certified referees. We run a full referee program. No self-reffing, no calling your own fouls, no arguing over out-of-bounds.

A dedicated official scorekeeper is courtside every game tracking points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks for every player. Stats are published to the portal within 24 hours. You'll know your numbers before the next game.

Every game is professionally filmed and uploaded to YouTube within a week. Your team gets a direct link. Watch the tape, send the highlights, settle the debates.

We run three skill tiers — Beginner, Competitive, and Advanced — so you play against teams at your level. Division descriptions are on each registration card. We evaluate placements after week two and will adjust teams if the fit isn't right.

Fees vary by division and season. The exact price (and whether an installment plan is available) is shown on each division card before you commit. No surprises at checkout.

Selected divisions offer installment plans. A deposit locks in your spot, with the remaining balance split across scheduled payments. If installments are available for your division, you'll see the option at checkout.

Full refunds are available if you cancel 14 or more days before the season start date. Within 14 days of the start, refunds are issued at 50% of the registration fee. No refunds once the season has begun. Email play@therecess.club for any refund requests.

Yes. Custom jerseys with your name and number are included with registration. Your captain collects jersey preferences from the full roster before the order deadline.

Jerseys are typically delivered before or during the first week of the season, as long as preferences are submitted before the jersey deadline.

Late submissions receive a default jersey. We can't guarantee your number preference if the deadline is missed. Your division deadline is in your dashboard. Don't sleep on it.
