• 01How do I sign up for a season?

  Create a free account, head to your dashboard, and choose Register a Team. Pick your city and division, name your squad, and complete payment. Your spot is locked the moment payment goes through.

• 02What's the minimum team size to register?

  You need at least five players to get on the court, but we recommend registering with 8–10 so you always have a full squad. Add players any time before the deadline using your team's invite code.

• 03How are skill divisions determined?

  We offer three tiers — Beginner, Competitive, and Advanced — so you play against teams at your level. Returning teams are placed based on their previous season record. We re-evaluate placements after week two and adjust if needed so every game feels competitive.

• 04How does stat tracking work?

  Every game has an official scorekeeper courtside tracking points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks for every player. Stats go live on the portal within 24 hours. Your career record builds season over season.

• 05When are game schedules released?

  Full season schedules drop one week before the season starts. Your captain gets an email with game dates, times, and gym locations. Schedules are also in your dashboard any time.

• 06What happens if my team is short on players?

  Teams need a minimum of five players to start a game. If you're running short, give us at least 24 hours notice. Forfeits are recorded as a loss, and repeated forfeits may affect your playoff seeding.

• 07How do playoffs work?

  All registered teams qualify for the playoffs. Seeding is based on regular season record. Single elimination across two weeks — win or go home. The championship game and ring ceremony close out the final week.

• 08What is the refund policy?

  Full refunds are available up to 14 days before the season starts. Within 14 days of the start, refunds are issued at 50%. No refunds once the season is underway. Contact play@therecess.club with any questions.
